I would recommend some more some more harddrive space, Its not needed for the game but its always nice to have more room. Secondly I would highly recommend some more ram, at least 1gb of ram.

8 gigs of ram and upgrade the GFX card. Since you already have ATI, I'd go with a 6970.

First thing I'd upgrade is video card, you'll notice the most gain from that alone. RAM, not so much.

I'd say p.m. jonisgod he can help u make a badass pc for under 700$ but u have to put it together. I did it for the 1st time and had no problems except for needing the OS files. upgrade your CPU and RAM and your gfx card can use sum upgrading. This is coming from a noob at pc builds But i can identify crappy hardware

You should be running the game fine on ultra with only a gpx card update.
A AMD 6950 would do the job, and if you want you can unlock it to 6970 with a bios update

Not all RAM is created equal. Some companies put more into their product than others. Sure you pay for a name, but from what I've seen from Corsair, G.Skill and OCZ, you also pay for quality and technology. I have 12gb of Corsair Vengence. The 8gb I first bought as a set were perfectly matched, so I decided to buy 4 more. It was perfectly matched. Is your Win7 64bit? You will need a 64 bit OS to be able to go over 4gb of RAM. I still say 8gb of RAM and a 6970 would do you just fine. If you have a "green" mobo, make sure that the board will support a different MHZ. If you are unsure and can't find it, just buy the exact same MHZ that's in the box already. Everything else it good.
