Im still using this two year old system but should have the new gamer done in about two weeks.

    This old one is :
phenom II X4 black edition, asus m4a79T deluxe 790fx mobo, four gigs of corsair 1066 cas 5 ram, ATI 4890s GFX card and a haf 932 case. I haven't found anything it cant play on high settings.

    New build:
1100T black edition CPU, crosshair IV formula 890FX mobo, ram: corsair GT 1600 (16 gigs), three 6870 XFX gfx cards in crossfire, corsair 800d case, corsair 1000 watt PSU, bluray burner and dvd burner plus fan controls, (3) WD 1tb harddrive. All I am waiting on now is the water cooler plus blocks to arrive and video capture card to plug the directv in  I think total for the build was around $1600 which was $200 over my budget.

ill sell the old one locally after the new one is finished.

Awesome! I personally wouldve considered the i7 2600k on air but hey thats just me, and 3! 6870's NICE lol a bit over kill for my needs but never the less girl PROPS.

To go into total detail this build : i5 2500k sandy bridge , Asus P8P67 Pro Intel, G.Skill Ripjaw X Series ( 8GB ) 1600 DDR3 , Saphire 6950 , Samsung F3 1TB HDD, Corsair 650TX power supply and a 60GB SSD all stuffed into an Antec DF 35 Black Case.. Do you think the 650w will be enough ?
