    2 same cpu's but different ghz?

    i have 2 intel core duo 2 e8400 i has 2.66ghz and the other 3.00ghz, whys is that?

    It is probably a load differential. One processor could be processing more or less than the other.

    The stock clock for the e8400 is 3.0 ghz, so one is underclocked or is under a load.

    You need to increase the BLACKFREQUENCY to make it 3.0 ghz.

    Does it say 2.66ghz on the actual CPU? or both says for example..

    INTEL e-8400 3.0ghz
