    I just happened to read a Tech article about the 6850 & 6870 in the most recent MaximumPC mag and it stated that they aren't much faster and in some benchmarks they're actually slower than the existing 5850 & 5870. The dual-GPU 5890 will remain AMD's top shelf offering. So maybe you should do some more research before you spend the $$.

    I would personally wait for the 6970 or 6950. But it depends how much you have to spend on a card.

    I have that board it's a good board but doesn't support crossfire/sli... the board is oc friendly! What processor you running?

    I'm in the process of building my new computer, but gotta wait til after the holidays to actually get going!
